Calcium deficiency ??what is Going On?
Last week thursday(3rd march),i done my bone density test!!haha.
what is the result?Definitely the GOOD result la!
Is Free!Blek ,not the truly test.Just fulfill the appealing from the postgraduate student.
just a simple test.Firstly ,the lab assistant put some ultrasound gel  on my right foot, around ankle there, follow by putting my foot on the machine.Feel like massage..ZZZzz.A few minutes, the value was shown by  the machine.I get the value below 0 .I am in HIGH risk group!SHit!so surprising!!hey man,i am just 18++ years old.How come like this!! I am still thinking the reason WHy?
Sure I Know the reason, because i am the coffee addict!!don't ask me dump this habit,so nice the aroma of coffee~~One cup of coffee ,please!
Be serious on this issue ,ok!Calcium deficiency is the general issue and mostly occurs in women especially pretty women like me.haha.A lots of reasons for getting this problem-dietary lack of calcium, caffeine, lack of exercise or lack some nutrient vitamin D which is important for absorption of calcium
Calcium  is a mineral that makes up the teeth and bones. Not having enough the calcium can cause bones to weaken and be more likely to fracture or break. The most serious is causing osteoporosis .
Actually this problem always occurs among the women who is menopause. For younger ,the reason  to get this problem usually are the one who revising facebook and online frequently (sedentary lifestyle)and lack of calcium in diet.
In order to prevent this 'disaster' ,must be start from the young age, because the peak age for the maximum bone mass is age 25-30.Until the age 30,your body forms new bone faster than it can break down old bone. After age 35,both men and women begin to lose peak bone mass at a rate of 0.5 to 1% per year. This means that bone is broken down faster than its being built.Gradually, this results in a loss of bone mass.
The best way to strengthen the bones is intake the food which are high in calcium and vitamin D.
Calcium is found in dairy products, dark green leafy vegetables (broccoli, spinach, kale), nuts, and calcium-fortified foods (orange juice, yogurt). Catfish, tuna, oysters, and fortified foods such as milk, yogurt, and fruit juices are chock full of vitamin D.
As a student who love the nutrition course the most,i advise the student who is busy with their studies ,please don't neglect your meal and take it based on the food pyramid.Balance yourself la.BUsy is not the excuse. If not ,u will regret when the emergency bell ringing in your body.
have to go....need to restore the calcium.Take care ,Buddy.
